MOLLY O'BRIEN

Tournament Director

Molly is one of the newest members of the MG Tennis Team. Molly moved to Florida from Montreal 6 years ago. Before she moved, she studied and taught Spanish and French at both the secondary and university levels. She recently made a career change from educator to tennis enthusiast. Even though her career change is recent, tennis has played a huge part of her life since she was a toddler. She played junior tournaments and was ranked in the top 10 in the Mid-Atlantic Tennis Association for several years. She continued her love for the game through her adulthood and is now a Certified Tennis Instructor through PTR.

Molly started at MG Tennis as a Roving Umpire. She is a certified USTA Umpire and Referee. She currently holds the position of Director of Tournaments. “Being around tennis in an capacity is exciting. I love all aspects of the game whether it be as a player, a teacher, an official or as a spectator. I have been extremely fortunate to become part of the MG Tennis team. I work with an amazing team that shares the same enthusiasm and love for the game.”
