Susie's job with MG Tennis is to promote & help develop quality
tennis programs to meet the needs of the local
tennis community. This goal is right in line with
what Susie has been doing for years as Orange
County Representative for USTA, as a Board Member
with the Greater Orlando Tennis Association, as
founder of the "Queens of the Court"
Annual Tennis Tournament, as a facilitator for
the After-School Zone Rallyball program at Chain
of Lakes Middle School and as the Girls Varsity
Tennis Coach for three years at Dr. Phillips High
School. She is an avid tennis player & fan
and has played on and served on boards for many
local ladies tennis leagues including WAIT, GOLD,
WIN, CFWWL & USTA.
In two years of work, Susie has
grown the MG Tennis In House Flexible Singles
League to over 130 players per season.
In 2008 she added USTA QuickStart
Tennis (QST) Coordinator for Orange County &
Kissimmee Areas to her job titles. Coach Rah believes
that QST is the format of the future for tennis
for kids 10 and under. For more information about
the format go to http://consumers.quickstarttennis.com/
or http://youtube.com/user/QuickStartTennis.
In 2008 MG Tennis re-vamped it's
junior introductory programs to focus on QST and
Susie is in charge of these eight classes for
the center at Lake Cane.
Susie has a degree in Business (Accounting)
from UCF and has worked in Guest Relations &
Seminar Productions for Walt Disney World Company
for over 26 years. She plans to help publicize
the great programs that MG Tennis offers as well
as the stories of the wonderful people who play
tennis in the Greater Orlando tennis community.
